  • To understand the nature of caste and changes occurring in it; to focus attention on the scheduled castes and their
  • To understand the problems faced by the tribal communities and the issues in education of tribal children
  • To understand how poverty affects schooling prospects of children with special references to migrant children.

Course 004: LANGUAGE, EDUCATION AND SOCIETY भाषा, शिक्षा और समाज

OBJECTIVES:

  • समझ और भाषा के रिश्ते को समझना।
  • समझ के विकास में भाषा की भूमिका को समझना।
  • विषयगत अवधार ाा के विकास में भाषा की भूमिका को समझना।
  • भारत तथा छत्तीसगढ़ के बहुभाषिक परिदृश्य को समझना। बहुभाषिता के शिक्ष ा शास्त्रीय पहलुओं को समझना।
  • भाषा से जुड़े राजनैतिक, सामाजिक तथा सांस्कृतिक पहलुओं को भाषा, बोली तथा मानकता के संदर्भ में समझना।
  • भाषा के सामाजिक तथा सांस्कृतिक लिंग-भेद के संदर्भ में समझना।

Course 005.1: हिन्दी का शिक्षा (प्रथम वर्ष)

OBJECTIVES:

भाषा के अलग-अलग भूमिकाओं को जानना। भाषा सीखने की सृजनात्मक प्रक्रिया को समझना। भाषा के स्वरूप और व्यवस्था को समझना।
स्कूल की भाषा, बच्चों की भाषा और समझ के संबंध को जानना।
भाषा के संदर्भ में पढ़ने के अधिकार षांति और पर्यावर ा के प्रति सचेत होना। भाषा सीखने के तरीके और प्रक्रिया को जानना और समझना।
पाठ्यचर्या, पाठ्यक्रम और पाठ्यपुस्तक का विश्लेश ा कर कक्षा विशेश और बच्चों की समझ के अनुसार ढालना।
भाषा और साहित्य के संबंध को जानना।
हिन्दी भाषा के विविध रूपों और अभिव्यक्त्यिों को जानना। भावों और विचारों की स्वतंत्र अभिव्यक्ति करना।
भाषायी बारीकियों के प्रति संवदनशील होना। अनुवाद के महत्त्व और भूमिका को जानना। विद्यार्थियों की सृजनात्मक क्षमता को पहचानना।
बच्चों की भाषायी विकास के प्रति समझ बनाना और उसे समुन्नत करने के लिए विद्यालय में तरह-तरह के मौके जुटाना

Course 005.2 PEDAGOGY OF LANGUAGE – ENGLISH OBJECTIVES

OBJECTIVES:

  • Understand the nature and system of language, language learning and develop a perspective on English as language in school curriculum in Indian
  • Critically examine the beliefs and assumptions about language learning, methodologies of language teaching and appreciate the aims of language teaching in the context of English language and other Indian languages.

Course 005.4 PEDAGOGY OF MATHEMATICS OBJECTIVES

OBJECTIVES:

  • To develop the student-teachers, to appreciate the nature of the subject along with the historical and social evolution and location of the discipline in the lives of the children.
  • To develop an appreciation and understanding of the objectives of school mathematics.

  • Develop own perspective on the relevance of science and science teaching
  • Understand the aims and objectives of teaching science at various school stages
  • Understand the learning of science by children, what it means to know a scientific concept
  • Develop the ability to design, manage and assess appropriate teaching-learning experiences in the context of school science

COURSE 005.6 PEDAGOGY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE OBJECTIVES

OBJECTIVES:

The Course will enable student-teachers to

  • Understand the nature of the social science
  • Understand how children acquire their understanding of society and in what ways the teaching of social sciences can help them to review this understanding
  • Explore effective ways of engaging with diverse kinds of students and help them to develop conceptual tools and knowledge necessary for a better understanding of society

  • Explore school visioning, leadership, discipline and participative decision making,
  • Provide knowledge of role of state, community that promotes school management,

Course 015.1 TEACHER IDENTITY, SELF-DVELOPMENT (ICT) (II) OBJECTIVES

  • This set of experiences is visualized with an assumption that student-teachers will have a basic familiarity with computers, even if they do not have much hands-on- experience.
  • To enable student-teachers to recognize, understand and appreciate ICT as an effective learning tool for learners and an enormous fundamental support to teachers.

Course 016 SCHOOL INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES

Observing and reflecting on classroom practices, regular teaching, teaching-learning resources developed, records of planned units of study and regular daily diary/journal of reflections, evaluations of learners. Some more important points are written bellow:-
